Are late games in NE common? I've never really paid attention.

Not as common as 1 o'clock games, but we get our share of late/night games

Night games I knew, I just didn't expect the late games.

It seems like when CBS has the double-header the featured game is the late game regardless of where it's being played.

My guess is the late games get higher ratings, because of church crowd, west coast, brunch, chores, etc.

I'm assuming simms and nance are announcing?

That would be 3 in a row.

What I can't figure out is why Tennessee-Minnesota is a late start. With only three CBS games on the early sched, it would make more sense to add this game there so more folks can watch the marquee game of the doubleheader (Manning vs Brady).
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I'm super confused about that small portion of NC that is always different than most of the country... doesn't make sense to me and it was never like that last year... Luckily it doesnt affect me this week though! GO BRONCOS!

Usually, if there's an area that is inexplicably different than the markets around them, it means there's a team with a hometown connection that the network wants to build fan interest for. The Waco, TX area is getting a lot of Redskins games this year because of RG3. Back in the 70s when I lived in Mobile, AL, we got a lot of Raiders games because of Kenny Stabler (from nearby Foley, AL). There was a chunk of Mississippi that always got the Brett Favre game. So, there's probably something like that going on.

With all of our Kentucky and Tennessee players, I sure wish my area played all of the Broncos games.
