Kanter also gave T&P for the shooting at STEM. Do we need a fainting couch? He’s low key shit talking the Nuggets were looking ahead. Goddam it I’m arguing with grandma.

In defense of Kanter, the stuff Jordan said would make people cringe today. It wasn't that long ago Garnett mocked a guy on the court for "looking like a cancer patient," and he once made Glenn Davis cry on the bench.

Considering that it looks like Kanter takes the trolling when it's directed at him, I think it just is a little blip.

But let's be honest, while he's another example of Presti not understanding NBA talent, he's not a great player.

This loss hurts. No reason we should have given up that lead, and allowed this to happen at home, young team learning some tough lessons again.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

The loss sucks, but hard to be upset with the season. I've been watching since the late 80's and seasons like this are so rare I'm just going to chalk it up to an exceptional year, and they are only gonna get better. I had no allusions to the next round being anything but a check to see how far away we were from Golden State, and I welcome going to bed on time again so theres that. This isn't like the Broncos losing to Jacksonville or Baltimore where you KNOW you had Championship aspirations, so that takes the sting off.

Default Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic takes blame for Game 7 defeat: “I feel responsible”

Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic took the blame for what transpired in Sunday’s agonizing Game 7 loss even though it wasn’t on him.

Before everyone’s eyes and across 14 revealing playoff games, Jokic played like an emerging force and a future MVP candidate. His numbers validated what many have known; Jokic is the unique player that has the capability of raising a franchise’s ceiling.

Denver’s Game 7 loss to Portland was about missed 3-pointers, missed free throws and missed defensive rebounds. Most of those shortcomings can’t be pinned on him.

Default Nuggets' Michael Porter Jr.: Will play Summer League

Porter said at Monday's exit interview that he's full cleared and expects to play for the Nuggets' summer league entry, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

The 14th overall pick in the 2018 Draft ended up missing the entirety of his rookie season while rehabbing after back surgery, but he said Monday that he's pain-free and has full medical clearance. Widely considered a top-three prospect in his high school class, Porter was projected as a potential No. 1 pick before injuring his back as a freshman at Missouri. Given that the injury sidelined him for most of the 2017-18 season, we're yet to see Porter against non-high-school competition for extended stretches, but he remains a high-upside prospect who could prove to be a valuable part of the Nuggets' future if he's able to stay healthy. Assuming he's given the green light to play summer league, the 6-10 Porter will be among the most buzzed-about names in Las Vegas.

Default Sources: Wizards to meet with Nuggets' Connelly

Denver Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly will meet with the Washington Wizards to discuss the franchise's president of basketball operations job, league sources told ESPN.

Connelly, a primary target of the Wizards' search, is expected to meet with Washington as soon as Friday, league sources said.

The Nuggets' willingness to grant permission for Washington to talk to its Executive of the Year candidate is rooted in Connelly's deep ties to the Mid-Atlantic region and some extenuating family considerations, league sources said. Connelly holds a great affection for the Nuggets organization and would've only considered an overture from Washington.

The Denver ownership's confidence in general manager Arturas Karnisovas' ability to assume full control of basketball operations, if needed, also played a part in its decision to allow Connelly to hear out Washington owner Ted Leonsis, league sources said.

Default Wizards offer president of basketball operations job to Nuggets executive Tim Connelly

CHICAGO — The Washington Wizards on Friday made an offer to Tim Connelly to become the team’s next president of basketball operations, a person close to the situation said.

Connelly, the top basketball executive of the Denver Nuggets who got his professional start with the Wizards, met with majority owner Ted Leonsis and consultant Mike Forde in Washington. It was not immediately known whether Connelly accepted the job. On Friday afternoon, a person with knowledge of the discussions said Leonsis informed the other three candidates of the team’s decision to offer the job to Connelly. A different person familiar with the situation, however, said that was not the case.

Connelly, 41, remains under contract with the Nuggets, who were eliminated in the Western Conference semifinals by the Portland Trail Blazers. Although Washington’s is the only job that would tempt him to leave Denver — a fact known by Nuggets President Josh Kroenke — an ally of Connelly’s speculated he would not leave for a deal lower than $4 million annually for five years.

this is gonna piss me off. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
