Jamal needs to man up…dude has been trash for most of the playoffs.
Is this going to be called a gentlemen's game 7?

Bye Michael.
Michael Malone’s ego got them both fired.
Local Sportstalk saying that the two just can’t get along, which makes perfect to me, I don’t blame Booth at all.
Your two best assets are already spent by All Star break and the rotation is literally ALWAYS comically short.
This kind of move doesn’t happen unless ownership can see it taking a toll on the players.

Draft

3rd round— Savion Williams WR
4th round— Charles Grant LT
6th round— Vernon Broughton 3-T
6th round— Tyler Shough QB
6th round— Dont’e Thornton WR
I'm not letting Booth off scott free, but yeah. Malone absolutely gets the lion's share of the blame. He has repeatedly leaned on shitty vets, refused to play or even try to develop young talent, and he ultimately has to own the Nugs' garbage defense. And their atrocious effort. Booth can own Murray's contract, but Kroenke is complicit, and he can own the stingy refusal to go deep into the tax to field a contender. Every one of them owes Nikola an apology.
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
We have no idea what Booth’s decisions look like with a coach that isn’t an egomaniac. I didn’t understand Nnaji contract, but then he gets on the court and shows legit NBA talent and then disappears on the bench again. The white stiff they signed as a FA, where the **** is he, you telling me he completed forgot how to contribute to an NBA team? Vic Lombardi was screaming for the dude to be signed, what happened?
What happened with Bones? He’s clearly talented enough to start for you when Murray was hurt, but then when Murray is back Malone goes back to playing Murray 40 minutes a game and wipes his ass with Bones. **** that.
As for the effort on defense; that’s all on Malone, it’s Malone’s forte, the dude literally never shuts up about defense. His message worked when the best player on the planet was surrounded by young, fresh and hungry players . . . the Nuggets are none of those things now. Michael Malone was a ******* passenger for that Chip they won, but that Chip made him think he was the Bill Belicheat of the NBA . . . “My system is the real talent”.
Nope, Team Calvin Booth checking in, the guy tried everything with Malone. When Booth brought in draft picks with NBA skills Malone gave him a comically short rotation, but when he gave Malone what he wanted he still gave Booth a comically short rotation.
I’m willing to bet this all came to a head because Malone put Booth in a no-win situation and the two just couldn’t coexist because of it.
Team Calvin Booth, signing off.

It was Calvin Booth’s final touches that got the Nuggets over the Chip finish line.

Damn near gave that one away. 4 points from the bench.
