grantland's assesment of our deadline moves. . .

The Nuggets need to gut the roster and start over, but instead of just pulling the trigger, they are doing it in stages. Rather than tear down the building, someone has decided to take a wrecking ball to one floor at a time, every three months.
Side note: Would you rather have Dragic on a max deal at close to $20 million a year or Lawson through 2016 at $12 million a year? Dragic may be a little better, but the answer is pretty clear once you factor in the contract (and assume that DUIs and Vegas trips are a coping mechanism for life with Brian Shaw). Lawson is probably the most underrated guard in the entire NBA. It makes no sense that teams were fighting for Dragic and Reggie Jackson yet nobody came up with enough to steal an unhappy Lawson from a Nuggets team that’s going nowhere.
LMAO! brian shaw is trying his best to reach the josh mcdaniels level of pathetic and embarrassing. . . i don't think he can actually manage to sink that low before they fire his worthless ass, but damn if the man ain't trying. . .

1-2-3-6weeks!
Let's Rid3!!!!
Will Barton has been a pleasant surprise. He's averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds in a Nuggets uniform. Him and Nurkic have been bright spots in an otherwise dismal season. Can't wait for the draft.
so you have given up on defending Brian shaw?
Sad day.
The only thing more disappointing than the Brian Shaw experiment is the fact the the Nuggets are stuck with Josh Kroenke. Who will be the next failing head coach?
rest - http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci...eant-they-wereOn Monday, Nuggets coach Brian Shaw denied his players were referring to the remaining time this season when they broke a huddle chanting with "1, 2, 3, six weeks!" in Friday night's home game against Utah.
The chant, reported first in Sunday's Denver Post, drew national attention in the past day. Shaw said he referenced the long home losing streak in practice last week.
"I said, probably three or four days ago in practice, that we hadn't won a home game in six weeks," Shaw said. "Which dated back to Jan.14, against the Dallas Mavericks, was the last time we won a home game here, which was six weeks ago. So, the comment that the players made when they got together and said '1, 2, 3, six weeks!' was the players saying 'this is the end of the six weeks, we're going to get a win tonight on our home court and break the six-week losing spell on our home court.' Not six weeks that it's the end of the season.

THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
Looks like Shaw gets to be the scapegoat this season. The media is going to twist everything that happens in a negative light. How dare he try to get them to play harder!
Shaw has been fired.
Good.
