Always good to get one at the Rose Garden.

I am so impressed with Dame Lillard. I admire people who relentlessly hone their craft.

Great win for the good guys.

that's game a contender needs to win, though, and they did. . . a few positive takeaways. . . grant is my new favorite nugget. . . he's not a star, but he's exactly what the team needed. . . defensive minded, hyper athletic, high energy. . . i love torrey, too-- he should be starting over barton. . .

more importantly, i'll call my shot now. . . i've liked him all along. . . they gotta sign malk beasley to an extension, now-- max that kid. . . he could be our harden. . . he's got the potential to be the best guard on the team. . .

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

That defense is a damn beast.

I love this Nuggets team, though. They are going to be so fun in the regular season, so deep.

Just to clarify the hawtness...I meant the block at the end of the game...not the whole enchilada.

The Nuggets have too many pieces for their own good at the moment. I think they'll figure out the rotation and who best fits with who, but this might take a little more time than most expected. They got Porter in tonight to get a decent amount of minutes, but he just doesn’t fit yet. The result of all this is that they aren’t quite aggressive enough and a little too passive defensively, which is resulting in a lot of trips to the free throw line for the Pelicans here in the fourth.

Largest comeback in franchise history. I had it on in the background and couldn’t believe when they started catching up.
