Default Nikola Jokic Gets Honest About Wearing Carmelo Anthony's No. 15

During a recent episode of his 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony slammed the Denver Nuggets for giving Nikola Jokic his number.

"It was a petty maneuver," Anthony said. "It wasn't like, 'Oh, we got numbers to choose from.' It was like, 'Here, you got 15' … I didn't go to Denver for about two years after that, two seasons because of lockout and the scheduling and all that crazy sh-t, right? So now I'm seeing Denver 15. I'm like, ‘F--k is going on? 15?’...The disrespect in you offering that showed me that you just wanted to erase everything that came prior to that right there… But what I believe is that they gave him 15 to try to erase what I did… When you think of 15 in Denver now, to this generation, you [think the] Joker. And there's nothing towards that. It's just, it was two different generations. So that just goes to show me that y’all not past that moment. This is 2010. This is 13 years ago. So if you are, you are holding on to something that was 13 years ago."

Following Friday night's win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Jokic was asked how long he has worn No. 15, and got honest about how far back it goes for him.

"In my hometown I was wearing 15," Jokic said. "... I think I've been wearing 15 my whole life."

Dude led a mid team to nothing. Yay...he put Denver on the map, demanded a trade and then did nothing everywhere else he went. What a "legacy".

Meanwhile throwing shade at an actual generational player who will go down in the books as one of the best to ever play.

    Yea....Joker looked up to you!

    Little pompous ass loser.

    He trash.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

He took 20 shots, made 15 of them. Also went to the free-throw line several times.

Nice win for the Nuggets tonight.

Tatum was basically invisible tonight. ESPN and Stephanie A Smith can eat a bag of dicks!

    Hopefully this works -
There might be new hope for Nuggets and Avs games to get back on TV
Kevin Demoff’s first priority in his new role as boss at Kroenke Sports and Entertainment is to get the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets and Altitude back on TV in the Mile High City. It’s such a high-ranking issue for the promoted executive that he went straight to a meeting about the issue right after his introductory press conference.

Demoff will oversee the Avs, Nuggets, Colorado Rapids and Mammoth as well as Altitude TV, reporting straight to Josh Kroenke. The self-admitted non-TV executive, Demoff, says he’s mainly focused on providing a fresh perspective on the dispute with the network and Denver’s largest cable carrier Comcast. Altitude has been off air on Comcast since the summer of 2019, when the network’s contracts with that provider, as well as DISH Network and DirecTV, expired.

Is there a professional league that is more poorly officiated than the NBA?

The calls that are made are confusing, with no consistency at all.

For a long time, the proletariat would claim that the best players will always get the call…I guess that only applies to non-white players!

    The NBA is a joke.

Also, Kendrick Perkins and Paul Pierce and Stephanie A Smith can all eat a dick!

    Bunch of racist mother******s!!!

That was a great win for the Nuggs!

They don’t even need to play well to beat the Lakers!!!

Once Murray finds his shot, this series will get embarrassing!
