Yeah but those are “hollow stats” … apparently.

If you don’t think Joker is basketball porn then you don’t know basketball.

Joker is the best player in the league. GA and JE might have better all-around games but overall it is Joker. He should win the MVP this season. He's not the media darling GA is, and he's not embraced by the old school players like GA (a lot of the bitter guys from the 90's and before like GA because he reminds them of bigs from their era, rofl) and that is taking a toll on Joker's perception.

Joker is hands down the MVP IMO. Literally carried the nuggets the to the playoffs without 2 of the 3 best players on the team. I think Joker wins it again personally.....

Also that deal for porter looks so stupid now.....
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

i do think joker will win it again. . . looks like another lost season, though, as the last i heard is that neither murray nor porter is going to be available for the playoffs. . . i don't blame them at all for being cautious, but it is disappointing. . . i thought the porter extension was a terrible idea, and this is why-- who knows if dude will ever be right again, but i doubt it. . . and even if he does get healthy, he's still a horrible liability on defense. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

All the early reporting I'm seeing have Jokic with a lead in the MVP race and deservedly so.

Sucks Murray and Porter never got back into the rotation, but the silver lining is that Bones got some solid playing time and confidence and Aaron Gordon has a really good flow with Jokic now. Golden State was the best case scenario matchup, I think people forget they were 3-1 against them in the regular season (even though one of those games was GSW resting their starters) but they don't have a good setup to defend Jokic. If they can steal one of the first 2 it could get interesting real quick but even then that might just mean a game 6 or 7 stretch. I don't see much past that unfortunately. Next year with a full roster its got to be Finals or bust.

I think they'll win one at home, but this is their final resting place this season.

Never thought the first game was gonna be close, too much emotion and then you top that with everyone on GSW jacking 3's at what felt like an 80% rate. Things will calm and I will stick with my prediction of GSW in 6, but they gotta sneak a win on the road at one point...

Next year gonna be lit though!

4-1 is unfortunately my expectation as well. . . joker simply doesn't have enough firepower around him to compete with golden state's freewheeling offense-- especially when they're draining three's from all over the court, as shake said. . . they also have a smart plan to attack jokic on the defensive end. . . i do hope the nugs can at least put up more fight and not get routed every game, but this feels inevitable-- and leaves me even more convinced that there's no sense in activating murray. . . it's smarter to let him ramp back up at a natural pace in training camp next year. . .

I actually forgot the game was on last night, so I didn't watch it. Watched the USFL's first game though...

And, being in Denver, about all I can do is read recaps of their games since they're not on TV.
