Nah. Denver doesn’t have an Alpha like Milwaukee and both LA teams. They have a couple players who could be Alphas. But they’re not Alphas now.

Lakers have no alphas. LBJ, I love him, but he's trying too hard to facilitate, and I think it's because he doesn't have the gas in the tank to be an elite scorer night in and night out. AD is really good, but he's still growing into the role.

Clippers and Milwa are the best teams. The league certainly officiates them that way, too.

The Barton and Grant “fouls” were quintessential NBA officiating in a nutshell.

    No Jamal Murray.

    No Gary Harris.

    No Paul Millsap.

    No Mason Plumlee.

No MPJ for half of the 4th.

And the Nuggets just beat the team with the best record in the NBA.

    On the road.

On the second night of a back-to-back.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

So Nuggets send Beasley and Juancho for basically a Houston 1st rounder, if I'm understanding correctly.
