the shitheel wizards are apparently sniffing around tim connolly. . . kroenke needs to shut that junk down with the quickness! they just signed TC to an extension. . . i don't understand how it isn't tampering for them to even be talking about it. . . in any case, we can't afford to let him get away-- dude has done a fantastic job building this roster. . . the job's not finished yet, though-- we need to keep him around to see it through. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

The Nuggets extended Connelly in February. What else can they or should they do?

Remember Masai Ujiri and how we were gonna fall apart after he left? It happens, at a certain point you just have to be happy where the Nuggets are right now and that is Division Champs with a 2 seed and a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

Better question is why do our top execs keep looking to leave town?

I should be excited about the two seed. I'm just nervous. San Antonio.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Honestly I think San Antonio is the best possible draw. I don't think any of the 8 teams are an easy out, and no gimmes the way Denver has been playing lately - but the Spurs suck on the road and even the Clippers would make me more nervous -- let alone OKC, Portland or Utah who are all more talented.

    Get some, Slick!

I'm scarred Buff. I don't think it matters who they're playing in the first round, I'm just skeptical. I know, I know. Different group, different mentality, yadda, yadda. I've been beaten down over the years. Hell, I feel like they might be better against the Blazers in the second round than San Antonio in the first.

Portland would have been the next best draw (other than LAC) - because they're banged up... But Dame Lillard scares me. I think we match up better against DDR and Aldridge...

But yeah - I'm not super confident. The franchise has done absolutely nothing to inspire confidence in its entire history - and they've also run really well in close games this year, so the numbers would indicate they aren't necessarily as good as their record suggests.

Still - the bracket played out as well as they could have hoped. Beat SA and then get to avoid Houston or Golden State in the second round if they get there... That's the best they could have hoped for.

Logically, I agree. I am not logical, here.

When the 8 seed still has 48 wins, I don't think any matchup will be easy.

Yeah Western playoffs all look like good series. As far as Denver I wanted wither San Antonio or OKC. Not sure why, but the Thunder were just a good matchup for us this year. But as others have said the way the Nuggets have been playing as of late any matchup has issues. Hopefully that was just late season fatigue and they get their second wind starting Saturday night. Pretty cool to have Avs and Nuggets playoffs at the same time, especially since the Rockies have decided they don't want to show up so far.
