How do you guys feel about the "Players Only" broadcasts? I like them in studio, but the games feel like they could benefit from a real play by play dude...
Were you guys watching when they gave an update that Tony Parker just returned from taking a piss?
They went to the sideline reporter dude and said "So you've got an update on Tony Parker"
"Yes, Tony Parker is back on the bench now, he just had to relieve himself."
Then the guys debated whether it was a 1 or a 2 during live action. Not sure if I enjoyed or hated it.
That sounds brutal.
But then again, I’m going to be watching “the crossover” broadcast tonight on ESPN with Bill Walton talking about everything but basketball, and I’m fully going to enjoy the wackiness. But, part of the fun of that is Dave Pasch having to reel him in and deftly mixing play by play with subtle mocking of Walton.
it was bad. . .
but FTR, bill walton is awesome. . .
I can't watch a whole BB game. I usually tune in later for the 3rd or 4th quarter. If it's close, I watch. If not, I typically move on to something else.
The first 1/2 of a game is typically worthless viewing. Clearly IMO, but last nights game was a good example of that stance.
Jokic has a triple double... IN THE FIRST HALF.
he finished with 30 points, 17 assists, and 15 rebounds. . . freakin' beastly. . .
that's also two quality road wins in a row, for a team that has struggled badly on the road up to this point. . . that's an encouraging sign. . . the west is an all out war this year, they need every win they can pick up. . .
The Nuggets core may be the most impressive young core in the NBA. If they can find a way to get rid of the dead cap weight (Arthur and Faried), this team can contend for a championship in a couple of years.
