    Default Report: Pete D'Alessandro leaving Kings, returning to Denver

    Pete D'Alessandro is leaving his position as the general manager of the Sacramento Kings in order to have a "high-ranking front office job" in Denver, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Before joining the Kings in 2013, D'Alessandro was the vice president of basketball operations for the Nuggets under Masai Ujiri. Months ago, new Kings vice president Vlade Divac became the lead decision-maker, lowering D'Alessandro's spot in the organizational hierarchy.

    In role, D'Alessandro will work to support Kroenke across the Nuggets and Avalanche franchises, sources said.

    This is a good hire IMO. Kings fans were not happy with Malone's ouster and neither were the players. Basically the new Kings owner is proving to be a moron just like the last owners were.

    With the Kings and Nuggets basically exchanging coaches it will be interesting to see which team ultimately wins with this.
