CB Joshua Moore has been waived. Bolden took No 31 because he thinks it's a better number for a corner.

Omar Bolden is at practice, wearing No 31 today. So what does that mean about Joshua Moore ....

I wish we had a quality reporter covering the Broncos practices. It would be nice to get some actual inside observations from practices.

For the second day in a row, the Broncos practiced in shorts, shells and helmets. Tuesday marked the first time since his signing that safety Jim Leonhard has participated, as Leonhard has been working his way back from a knee injury.

ROLL CALL

While Leonhard took part in practice, a number of players did not. Defensive end Jason Hunter (triceps), guard Chris Kuper (forearm), defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson (concussion), linebacker Keith Brooking (hamstring), wide receiver Andre Caldwell (rib), linebacker Nate Irving (rib), linebacker Mike Mohamed (hamstring) and wide receiver Tyler Grisham (knee).

Head Coach John Fox also announced that the team waived cornerback Joshua Moore, and Leonhard was officially taken off the PUP list. On Tuesday, cornerback Omar Bolden donned No. 31, Moore’s old number.

Lindsay uses twitter from practices, but she also writes articles/blogs on the DP site in regards to practices, as does the other DP sports writers who attend practices.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Seventeen days after signing with the Broncos, safety Jim Leonhard finally hit the practice field with his teammates.

"It’s been a long time," Leonhard said. "A lot of hours of rehab since I’ve been on this field. It really felt great to get back out there."

The second safety to return to the practice field in the past two days -- joining Quinton Carter -- Leonhard participated in individual drills, but was held out of team portions of the session.

"I just got my feet wet a little bit," he said.

Broncos have new social media rules, so no comments about individual drills and what not.

Media rules change after training camp is over; affects ability to report.

Also, if you think the post's coverage is poor you really need to check out some similar-sized markets, we have it better than you might realize.

I think practices have been limited to media after last Thursday (or whatever the official last day of camp was).
