Default Sleepers and value players 2009

At QB I think Carson Palmer could be a good value, and also Aaron Rodgers.

At RB, Ray Rice, Darren McFadden, Derrick Ward, Ronnie Brown, Kevin Smith and Beanie Wells could have value depending on where they are drafted.

At WR, Greg Jennings and Nate Washington stand out to me as players that could drop way below their value.

At TE, Greg Olsen all the way. The biggest winner of the Cutler trade.

I would advise against picking Palmer. The guy is still a monster talent and an exceptional QB. That being said Cincinnati's offensive line just got shuffled tremendously.

Andrew Whitworth is going to be our LT this year. He is a pretty damn good LG, but he has had to drop weight to play LT. The few times he played LT he got spanked on MNF by Dwight Freeney.

Jonathan Luigs is battling Kyle Cook for center. It looks like the loser will be the new LG. Suppossedly Cook is the odds on favorite but I really doubt that he wins the position battle. Luigs may be a rookie but he did great in the SEC and Cook has had opportunities before.

RG is being held down by the best offensive lineman you've never heard of in Bobbie Williams.

Andre Smith looks like he's going to be a holdout. He's also our new RT.

As far as receiving threats to throw to, Palmer is better off than most QBs. Chad Johnson sucked last year because he was injured and Palmer missed most of the season. Cincinnati also had one of the worst offensive lines in all of football last year. Believe me, I'm not a huge CJ fan, but he will be productive this year.

Lavernous Coles is still a very good WR. Chris Henry may be a failure as a human being, but he is a talented freak who can make huge plays.

The running game will be solid. I think that Cedric Benson is a 1200 yard back this year. He is never going to live up his 4th overall pick status, but he did really well last year and like I said our offensive line was PUTRID.

If Palmer ends up being your starting QB for fantasy you will get a solid point producer with consistency. However, while he may be a top ten QB (and in all honesty I still think he's in the top five) he PROBABLY won't be a top ten fantasy point producer.

Gotta add Percy Harvin to the mix. 3rd down specialist, potential return man and perhaps wildcat wildcard. Guy's a sparkplug.

If I had to take a rookie WR this year it would be Hakeem Nicks. I don't think he has any choice but to produce this year.
