I had nothing to do with it. 96 did this all on his own. I guess I'm complicit in that I haven't outed him.

True enough, if that makes you an accomplice then we are all complicit since none of us have outed him.

However, 96, I would suggest you out yourself and don't have other do that for you, otherwise it will be a big stink. And please be sure to not affilaite the board with your "joke" because that would be a terrible way for all those posters to get to know this board IMO....

i knew rc was just clownin'. . . because shanahan has already said that rod WILL be on this team, whether it's week one, week six, or week fifteen (obviously that's hyperbole-- they'll put him on IR if they can't activate him by week 9, the last week a player is eligible to come back from the PUP). . . but in any case, his statement was pretty clear and unequivocal. . . and i really doubt he'd lie about it. . .

shenanigans is pretty loyal to "his guys"-- the guys who have worked the hardest, set the examples, and been team leaders. . . remember how many chances eddie mac and TD got to come back? not just anyone gets that treatment (i think sharpe's mouth kept him out of that club, for example), but rod is in that group-- even if he can't go this year, and they have to IR him, the team will let rod collect a last year's pay out of respect for past services (especially after he reduced his salary for this year). . . people may rush to remind me that "it's a business" (which i know and understand), but if they think it's that cut-and-dried then maybe they haven't paid attention to how shanahan and bowlen have handled these kinds of situations in the past. . .
