    Already done with that round.

Can't take constructive criticism. Note well taken. No need to be rude about it.

John Grisham's hardback is cheaper than your paperback. John Grisham is a best selling author. Choice between his hardback best seller and your paperback first novel, I'll take the cheaper hardback.

I think that was her point.

That was my point. $18 for a paperback is expensive, considering most are $10 and under. Maybe your publisher named the price and you had nothing to do with that? Just because I don't like you doesn't mean I'm unable to give a fair critique.

    Sigh. Fine I'll explain this.

Where are you finding it for $18? It's LISTED as 18 but everywhere is marked down 30-40%. Effectively $11ish dollars a copy. It's a pretty common and remarkably effective gimmick book sellers do to make it look more attractive.

It wasn't "cant take criticism", it was "that's not whats even happening".

And, yes, I also have nothing to do with the price, but my % comes off the 18 so if anything I want it higher.

I clicked on the link you sent in, and I saw that it said it was in paperback and for $17.95. I notice details. 40% would make it more attractive.

I wish you the best of luck with your book. Really, I do.

The 17.95 has been crossed out for months? No worries and thanks but I've got money so I'm more concerned about it succeeding for the charity's behalf and it conveying an important message.

Looks like a great book.I had a brother who went through Camp Pendleton. I would read your book if I had the time. Maybe if things slow down, I will give it a read. Nice going and good luck!
Its a Novel? It looked like non-fiction to me.

    Welcome to Hell:
Three and a Half Months of Marine Corps Boot Camp
Patrick Turley. History Publishing (Midpoint, dist.), $17.95 trade paper (232p) ISBN 978-1-933909-21-9
This is where I got the info. I checked again and I didn't see anything where it was crossed out. But who knows. I don't care. I'm always glad when good things happen.
