Thread: Aurora shootings resonate with Broncos receiver Eric Decker

Both here and everywhere, the shootings at the Aurora theater last week stirred thoughts and feelings in nearly every able-minded, feeling person.

For Broncos receiver Eric Decker, the tragedy caused a flashback.

"It brought back some tough memories," Decker said. "It sparked some emotions. It sparked memories of what happened in high school."

I dont think many of the young kids realize that Elway was every bit as big as Tebow was, except we didn't have cell phones, text, instant messaging, tweets, live feeds from every angle of every move, 8 million TV stations, or even the internet. It was insane the kind of coverage Elway got. Just as it is today, but without the "mass instant coverage" of today.

Seriously you have to derail the thread after the original post, nice job. Has nothing to do about elway/tebow coverage. This is about Decker, 100% Decker.
