Von is carrying two phones. I remember seeing Eddie Royal with three cell phones. Is this common? Is my one-phone system archaic?

Von talk to Elvis? "he's gonna be my big brother regardless...I don't even ask about any of that stuff. I just want to lift his spirits"

Von: "hopefully I can cut down on the mental errors I had last year".

Von on how he stayed in shape: "did a lot of yoga type stuff with Jason Pierre Paul in Miami"

Von Miller with an interesting choice of footwear. http://via.me/-3e6vme4

Tamme on why he likes t-camp: "love it. Nothing you'd rather do as a 27-year old male". Hmmm, I can think of a couple other things.

I love when football people use the term "installation process". You mean practice?

Jacob Tamme everybody. He doesn't look like a tight end. Not that big. http://via.me/-3e65pw4

For the record, two servings of BBQ chicken, half-plate taters, some type of pork deal and four oatmeal cookies. Not done yet.

Tracy Porter: "our expectations are to get to New Orleans and win the Super Bowl"

Tracy Porter on possibly losing DJ and/or Elvis: "I think that weighs on the fans more than it does the players"

Fox on DJ: "obviously he's going to miss a big portion of the season". I guess that means he's not gonna win that appeal.

Fox's favorite line about PFM: "he's the type of player that raises all boats". Going with the maritime theme.

"for all the negative things that occur, our guys do a whole lot of good. I'm very proud of them."

Fox on Elvis: "obviously disappointed....gotta gather facts...eventually truth will come out"

John Fox now approaching the circle of truth http://via.me/-3e5hd86

Elvis on feeling more pressure with PFM: "obviously we have one of the best QBs of all the time...pressure is part of it...gotta go take it"

Elvis has not spoken to the commish. Says he feels healthy. Anxious to get back to work.

Elvis: "I can't mention anything about the investigation. It's out of my hands"

Elvis Dumervil: "once investigation is completed the truth will come out"

Headed to the Broncos complex to eat some free food. After what CBS4 paid this franchise for 8 years, I'm going to eat a lot.

Default Broncos report to camp, hope to provide healing

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -- The Denver Broncos are reporting to training camp knowing they'll be counted on to help a community in mourning heal from the movie theater shooting in suburban Denver last week.

Coach John Fox said the Broncos are embracing the role, one he's familiar with from his time with the New York Giants during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Several Broncos visited hospitalized victims of Friday's shooting that left 12 dead and dozens injured at the midnight premiere of ''The Dark Knight Rises'' in nearby Aurora.

Default Record crowd watches Peyton Manning's Broncos training camp debut

A record number of Broncos fans filled the grassy berms lining the practice field Thursday morning to get their first glimpse of Peyton Manning in a navy blue Broncos uniform.

By 9:30 a.m., 3,365 fans — many of whom arrived before sunrise — had arrived at Dove Valley, and fans still were being allowed inside. The maximum capacity for the practice field is 4,200.

Manning took the field at 8:44 a.m. to a rousing ovation, and soon after, led the first-team offense through a walk-through session against the first-team defense, giving fans and media the first peek at the unofficial depth chart.

Default Peyton Manning debuts at Denver Broncos camp

Denver Broncos beat writers have never seen a bigger crowd at training camp. More than 3,365 of fans, broke the training camp record and erupted like it was Week 1 for Peyton Manning's first training camp practice for the Broncos.

Manningmania is here and NFL Network aired live footage of the opening hour of the Broncos' practice.

There's only so much you can tell from watching from home, but Manning reportedly completed 12-of-14 passes in his first set of 11-on-11 work. The crowd particularly appreciated when Manning took off and ran the ball.

DJ Williams not with the first team defense, but is mimicking the reps, inc breaking huddle, off to side.

This is, by far, the biggest crowd I've seen at a broncos tc practice in my 5 years covering the team.

In the first drills to start camp, Ty warren and Justin Bannan are the 1st DTs; Rahim Moore and mike Adams at S. Woodyard at WLB. #broncostc

Peyton Manning takes field at 8:44 to very loud cheers from crowd #broncos

Julius Thomas has passed his physical and will practice for #broncos

Ronnie Hillman on the crowd at camp today: "it was crazy. Felt like one of my college games"

PFM also mentioned that John Lynch addressed the team last night. Fired em up with some spirited words. Words like "get em", "fight", "win"

On young teammates: "it's humbling at times when they say they saw you play on ESPN classic"

PFM on goals: Say healthy thru camp. Find an identity. Win the division. Get better.

Hilite of today's first practice was the dog that ran onto field. @joeldreessen said it happened to him a couple times at CSU.

PFM: "DeMaryius is gonna play a key role for us this year. He came back In great shape"

PFM on the crowd: "great to have this many people out here. I know the passion fans these fans have"

Default John Lynch delivers pre-training pep talk to Broncos

The Broncos called on a familiar face to deliver a speech to the team on the eve of training camp.

Former safety John Lynch, who has remained in Denver since leaving the team in 2008, spoke to players Wednesday night.

Default Broncos position battles at training camp: Unrein, Moore, Woodyard, Ramirez

Some of the notable depth chart developments in Day 1 of Denver Broncos training camp…

    Offense:
Running back: Lance Ball was the No. 2 tailback behind Willis McGahee. Knowshon Moreno wore a knee brace and didn’t participate in team drills. Mario Fannin got some reps with the No. 2 offense.

    Right guard:
Chris Kuper moved pretty well considering the ankle/fibula injury he is trying to recover from. But in team drills, Kuper rested while veteran Manny Ramirez lined up with the No. 1 offense.

Default Peyton Manning feeding off fan enthusiasm as Broncos training camp starts

In a showing that topped the past two summers of Tebowmania, a record 4,372 fans packed the viewing areas at the Broncos' Dove Valley complex Thursday morning.

By 9:20 a.m., less than an hour into the practice, a crowd of 3,365 already had squeezed in, topping the previous non-stadium practice record of 3,103, set in Tebow's rookie year of 2010.

Most had come to see the debut of quarterback Peyton Manning.

"The crowd was great, the enthusiasm was great," Manning said.
