    Whoa. Wut?

I'd would LOVE to hear you say that in front of Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Fouts, Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Kurt Warner, Ben Roethlisberger. Hell I'd like to see you say it to Jake Delhomme...

They'd laugh you out of the room.

When it's Phylis Rivers or Bernie Kosar it doesn't matter what it looks like, but when it's 2-7 for an entire game it's an entirely different animal. One thing I know about Tim Tebow is that he will be given an endless amount of opportunities to put it all together. Where 99.99% of QB's with his skill set would already be out of the league this dude is virtually assured of a 10+ year career regardless of how much he improves.

Do I think he can do it? I really don't know, l'm just glad that soap opera won't play out in Denver.......
    2- Damontre Moore DE
    2- Christine Michael RB
    3- Da'Rick Rogers WR
    4- Quanteris Smith DE
    4- Xavier Nixon LG
    5- Nicholas Williams DT
    7- Rogers Gaines OT

    Cfa- Latavius Murray RB
    Cfa- Nathan Stanley QB
    Cfa- Marcus Cooper CB
    Cfa- Ray Polk SS
    Cfa- Brice Butler WR/CB

I might even sub Michael Buchanon for Da'Rick Rogers and draft 3 DE's. Denver has exactly zero RDE's atm, Q Smith might have to start season on the Pup and Ayers is going into contract season.

i would never say that in a room with any of them simply because they are the greats of the game. I probably would have something better to ask them then about tebow playoff games. Doesnt change the fact Tebow still had a great game. Sometimes he would play bad and sometimes he would play like that. Young kid , has alot to learn. You shouldnt be so harsh on him.

He set playoff records. Three pass completions over fifty yards and a completion average of 31.6 yards. Like him, hate him or indifferent he had quite a game. Dick Lebeau didn't sleep for weeks, kept having Tim Tebow nightmares.

Yep, he had ONE great game. Even a blind squirl gets a few accorns once in a while.

That 2-8 game in KC is kinda misleading...He really only had one uncatchable bad throw that entire game...The other seven were either caught, dropped, or just a solid play by the DB.

Watch the vid and you'll see he was actually pretty much on target most of the day...

    Pass #1-
Actually, Decker had to slow up to try and catch that as
initially he had beaten his man. Could it have still been caught?
Maybe. But by then the defender was draped all over him. Had the pass
been thrown in front of Decker that is more likely a TD.

    Pass #2-
Not PI actually. Both guys looking for the ball. No foul.

    Pass #3-
How does the guy on video automatically assume that the receiver
ran the wrong route? Tebow is notorious for not having much accuracy
so unless the guy breaking the video down knows the play call im
not sure who is at fault on that one.

    Pass #4-
    Totally catchable. Royal to blame.

    Pass #5-
    Catable. Royal to blame.

    Pass #6-
    Completed

    Pass #7-
    Very bad pass.

    Pass #8-
    Completed.

So we have 2 completions, 2 drops, 1 incompletion via good defense,
1 underthrow, and 1 that could of been at fault on either guy. So while
i agree the 2 for 8 is misleading it isnt just one uncatchable pass
like the doofus who made the video is claiming.

Yeah thats why I didn't quote the video maker's reasoning, because I didn't completely agree...

But as for my own opinion, there was only one bad throw. The rest were'nt necessarily perfect, but still catchable enough for an NFL caliber WR.

As for Pass #3, it wasn't that Decker ran the wrong route (it just looked like a simple go route to me), but rather that he misjudged the ball's trajectory and turned the wrong way (which is what I think the author meant).

Decker had said himself a couple times he had run wrong routes his season. The Bears game I know for sure.

Unfortuantely that doesnt mean he ran it wrong on that particular play. My problem with the guy in the vid is he automatically assumed it was a wrong route by the receiver which is the wrong way to look at it.

Who knows, and nobody will be able to tell. But Decker has made that mistake before, was all I was saying. Not saying he did that time.

Still could have just as easily been 6-8 as 2-8 had every ball still been thrown in the exact same place.

No Tebow wasn't great last season, but our WRs sure didn't do him a lot of favors.

Never understood why we gave Lloyd away when he would have been the perfect type of WR for Tebow with his ability to make circus catches.

That game was a perfect example of why you should analyze a game by watching it instead of reading the statsheet. Tebow wasn't great in that game but he wasn't 2-8 bad either.

(Also I added to that last post after you quoted)
