That Louis Logic song was absolutely phenomenal and Jedi Mind Tricks is well, Jedi Mind Tricks. JMT can be a little too abrasive for me at times through lyrics, delivery and the beats; but that's still good stuff.

Kool G Rap -- All of My Life
KGR, totally classic.
You guys should have a dance-off instead
Sneakers, please participate and take this thread seriously or leave. I don't care if you post some classical, Jazz with a good oboe solo, or even some polka. I start threads like these to discover new music that I wouldn't normally on my own. If all you can do is ridicule this, then go find something better to do.
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
The Kool G Rap was very nice accept for Zap. After California Love, I can't listen to him sing through his synth anymore.
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
Ok, this is from my current favorite group right now, PUTS:
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
Finally getting a chance to listen to your songs Shaw. Will comment on them in a couple, but first this:
Dom Kennedy - It Was Beautiful
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
Ok. I've heard Brooklyn Girls before. Dope track. Not one that I could listen to over and over again since dudes voice most definitely would start to grate on me.
Asher Roth is good. I don't know if he has the ability to hold his own on a whole album, but I'll keep my ears open.
The solo track by B.O.B. I couldn't get past the first minute.
On the colab track - glad to hear Hamilton with a different style, and I definitely like B.O.B. better on that track as well. Didn't like the production however. Not a fan at all of Casio beats. If this is where popular hip-hop is headed, there is hope indeed.
Now this is what I have for you:
Junk Science - Jerry McGuire
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
i agree about hamilton.. his voice can get harsh. especially when he has it so loud, relative to his beats, in a lot of his songs.
asher is good, and he just came out with his first album... overall the album is kind of weak, but he does some good stuff, so i think he will keep getting better.
i like that track by BoB, but it's kind of alternative i guess. he is kind of like andre 3000 in that he likes to do other stuff besides just rapping, and his favorite type of music is rock. this track is good too, his take with a bunch of different beats from other artists:
i like that jerry mcguire song, but it's weird because i start my new job today haha.
B.O.B Going Diamond mash up was pretty good, not really feeling the Edan, liking the PUTS.
This song is just catchy:
Concert last Friday was off the hook(forward to the 1min mark)
Big ups to Thnikkaman for the embed help.
