Thread: Late Game Kickoff Times Moved Back to 2:25 PM

Default Late Game Kickoff Times Moved Back to 2:25 PM

I think this rule was passed solely to annoy me. I hate sitting around waiting for game time. I can't spare another 10 minutes! Please join me in being outraged.

That means Bronco fans can push back their (tailgate) parties 10 minutes for four games, including three played at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The four games with later start times:

Week 3 vs. Houston, start time moved from 2:15 p.m. to 2:25.

Week 5 at New England, start moved from 2:15 p.m. MDT to 2:25 MDT.

Week 11 vs. San Diego, start moved from 2:15 p.m. MST to 2:25 MST

Week 17 vs. Kansas City, start moved from 2:15 p.m. to 2:25 p.m.

I don't mind it at all. I hate when the early games on double-headers run late and you miss the first few minutes of the game.

I agree. I hated it when they moved it from 2pm to 2:15. Now 2:25!!! Thats BS! More time to sit there anxious and eating junk food and needing a friggin tranquilizer LOL...
So now games will go until 530 and make us miss 30 minutes of Football Night in America...crap!

If you live in Colorado, they always leave the early game, even if its in OT, and give you the kickoff of the Denver game.

I wouldn't care except I enjoy "The Amazing Race" on CBS on Sunday nights and CBS just pushes back their programming the later the games go long. So the 7 p.m. Central start time often becomes 7:20 or 7:30 or even later. So I have to record from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in order to watch one hour of programming. Now I'll probably have to record from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. just to make sure I get the whole show (besides, I'm usually watching SNF at the same time).

Yes, I know it can be viewed free online anytime, etc but I like to record it and later transfer it to DVD and the only way to do that is record it first. Besides, watching tv shows on a computer screen gives me a headache from squinting.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

10 more mintues = one more beer before kickoff.

    How can that be bad?

For those of us that don't live in CO, I like seeing the whole game. I can wait the extra 10 minutes.

That's your fault for not living in the finest state in the union. I don't see why I should be punished for that.

This post solely changed my mind on the subject.

    Thanks buff.
Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Rene, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

The real question is how does this effect fantasy football?.......
    2- Damontre Moore DE
    2- Christine Michael RB
    3- Da'Rick Rogers WR
    4- Quanteris Smith DE
    4- Xavier Nixon LG
    5- Nicholas Williams DT
    7- Rogers Gaines OT

    Cfa- Latavius Murray RB
    Cfa- Nathan Stanley QB
    Cfa- Marcus Cooper CB
    Cfa- Ray Polk SS
    Cfa- Brice Butler WR/CB

I might even sub Michael Buchanon for Da'Rick Rogers and draft 3 DE's. Denver has exactly zero RDE's atm, Q Smith might have to start season on the Pup and Ayers is going into contract season.
