    Default 2009 MLB Draft

One of the more confusing drafts out there for folks is underway. Big name pitcher (Stephen Strasburg) headlined what some scouts call a below average draft for position players. Time to load the systems.

No surprise that the Mariners took Ackley and opted to go for an infielder with their second pick. I just wonder where Ackley will play in the pros, but I guess that'll depend on how his arm goes after TJ's.

Ackley will play first base. He's in the mold of a Mark Grace/Darren Erstad type of a player.
