    Default Patriots release Anthony Gonzalez

    http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/...thony-gonzalez

COnsidering that he's familiar with Manning and the system, and works well from the slot, I think he could be a nice addition to the depth.

Or simply worth looking at for those purposes.

As first glance I thought this said Aaron Hernandez and I almost got a huge boner. I guess he'd be worth bringing in for a look. He's comparable talent-wise to every WR we have past Decker and DT and he is familiar with Manning.

I think any signings will come in June, Mike Klit was talking about that with Les/JoJo. Something about the money not effecting the rookie cash, something-or-other. Idk, Klis starts talking and my attention starts wandering to any shiny object.......
    2- Damontre Moore DE
    2- Christine Michael RB
    3- Da'Rick Rogers WR
    4- Quanteris Smith DE
    4- Xavier Nixon LG
    5- Nicholas Williams DT
    7- Rogers Gaines OT

    Cfa- Latavius Murray RB
    Cfa- Nathan Stanley QB
    Cfa- Marcus Cooper CB
    Cfa- Ray Polk SS
    Cfa- Brice Butler WR/CB

I might even sub Michael Buchanon for Da'Rick Rogers and draft 3 DE's. Denver has exactly zero RDE's atm, Q Smith might have to start season on the Pup and Ayers is going into contract season.

Yeah, thats definitely his problem. I guess I'm thinking that if we make a run of any kind into the playoffs, having that extra 4 WR that knows Manning well enough to step into in case of injury... plus he had a season or two where he looked REALLY good as an up-n-coming WR when teamed with Manning.

You guys give moreno a hard time for producing. This guy was a first rd pick (yes like 32) or whatever but he has nothing in stats...barely ever saw the field and is hurt more than clay spanks it.

Xavier Rhodes is a super stud!
Draft: trade back to early 2nd or end of 1. Gain a 4th.

    2a. DJ Hayden- cb
    2b. Christine Michael- rb
    3. Dj swearinger- ss
    4. John Simon or Corey lemionier -de
    4. Barrett jones - center
    5. Kevin Reddick- MLB

Maybe we can use him like a junk parts car for Demarius Thomas.
Thanks MO for the wicked Sig.

I think he's an upgrade to Stokely. And I don't blame Gonzalez for a lack of receptions when he's on the field with Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark. Now, if he can't pass the physical, that's a different story but, otherwise, I think he's definitely worth the look if Manning agrees.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

you just gave a reason to give him a go. Not looking for him to start, looking for him to provide depth to a WR corp while coming in with complete understanding to a new offensive system in Denver. Having a 1ast round talent as you #3-#4 isn't bad. Ask Brandon Lloyd how sometimes it takes a player with talent to finally step it up.

Injury is the main thing, of course. But if he can stay healthy, I don't see why we wouldn't bring him in to compete with some of our guys.

As opposed to the other "Iron Men" in our receiving corps?

This is the same logic I apply to knowshon, but for whatever reason it does not count for him.

Slowshon was a 2nd round prospect taken with the 12th overall pick by Satan himself, in addition to his glass vag, that's why he gets shit. I think it's fairly obvious now that he wasn't even a 2nd round prospect, at least not in the scheme he was brought into. I couldn't care less about Gonzales but Slowshon is the last thing Broncos should consider when considering drafting/signing a player.

One mans glass vag is another mans treasure.......
    2- Damontre Moore DE

This difference is, whether its right or not, is that Knowshon has been a major 1st round disappointment to the very team that drafted him. That usually means you "get another chance" on another team.

I liked this cat at Indi.....I'd be cool with us signing him and giving him a chance to make the squad.
