    Default Dreadnought's Old Prog Rock Thread

    So in my advancing age I am finding myself returning to the music of my youth. Thankfully, I am of a good age for that, because the early 70's were the absolute Heyday of first rate Prog Rock. Genesis (with Peter Gabriel, not the schlocky Phil Collins crap), King Crimson, ELP, Yes, Van Der Graaf Generator, all that stuff has been back on my MP3 lately, and I've forgotten how much I loved it. Plus my Hawkwind is back in play too.

    If you are too young to understand how outstandingly brilliantly whacked out some of this stuff was, check out this live video of King Crimson's classic "Lark's Tongues in Aspic." Ideally with headphones and a dark blacklit room. Give it a few minutes
