I don't like the way he has his snare drum tuned but that drummer is an animal. Whoa!

This band comes out of Spain but has a very Soundgarden feel to them. Good stuff.

Going to see Steven Wilson again tonight. Pretty fired up!

This is his cover of Space Oddity with Israeli singer Ninet Tayeb

Keith Emerson died at age 71. He was my childhood musical hero above all others. ELP hasn't aged as well as some other contemporary Prog, but they put on a Hell of a show back in the '70s. I got to see them live in their heyday, and it was memorable

    RIP

The four song stretch of Seventh Sojourn, Strange Brew, A Fleeting Glance and Era is bloody damn amazing on Opeth's new album, Sorceress.

I know Dred loathes the Phil Collins Genesis. But how about the Genesis drummer Collins vs. KC Bruford? I believe that Collins in the 1975 range (Genesis and Brand X) was ridiculous.

Got tickets to see King Crimson on 11/8. Saw them in Rochester in Late June, and pretty fired up to see them again. Robert Fripp is the GOAT in his craft IMO

Dread, you ever get into these guys? Stumbled on them a couple years ago.

I don't know if this qualifies, but loved this song in the early 80's.

I remember being amazed at the album (yes - vinyl) itself - laser etched:

Note my opening statement. It's probably best described as progressive punk, but the two are not necessarily opposed to each other.

Fine though. How about this one?
