yea the gruden thing is, but the other day gruden took smith aside and basically stuck it to him in front of skip. This is a newer episode.

Wont matter until Tebow actually becomes a starter again which is basically what im getting at. There are a lot of things that Gruden and Skip say that i disagree with about the future of the league, Timmy being a legit starter, etc. But none of it is really relevant until he can surplant Sanchez as the starter.

you see revis make comments about tim "being a natural born leader" today as well? I think tebow will become starter very soon in the season. I mean we watched it all happen last year. We should know it better then any Jet fan. The first game Sanchez struggles... its over

Honestly, I believe Skip would sleep with Tebow if Tebow would allow him to . . .

Gruden pretty much likes EVERYONE. Which is why everyone likes him.

I don't think beating out a "struggling" Sanchez is much of an endorsment for Tebow, anyway. It's not like Sanchez is considered much of a QB in the NFL....somewhere around an Orton. So great for him if..... IF..... he's able to beat out Sanchez after Sanchez struggles.

That being said...the Jets are NOT only going to give Sanchez such a short leash that if he struggles once, its over. Thats the worst thing you can do to ANY player. Tebow isn't good enough to rush into the lineup.

If the best thing your CB can say about your QB is "he's a natural leader"... then that means he's watching his words carefully. Its not like Revis said "he's a natural born QB." Revis knew what he was saying, and not saying.

Once training camp opens up and Tebow starts throwing left handed punts the niceties will cease. If they replace Sanchez, they are only replacing him with a worse QB. I dont think Tebow starts this year unless there is an injury or 2.

Gruden is a complete ass kisser, and Im fine with his overall postive attitude towards players because hes consistent......but its not like anyone takes his "player evaluations" to heart.
