Yes, so much is coming back to me now. I remember thinking at the time that
the Broncos were so fortunate to have a budding Bart Starr/Zeke Bratkowski
type of combination, between Elway and Kubiak, at QB. I was so right . . .

Craig Penrose. I remember what was supposed to be a three-way battle among
the QBs. It wasn't close. Red Miller was asked in an interview whether he
thought Penrose was the best passer of the group. He replied, "No, Morton is."
Sure enough, Morton took over and never looked back.

I don't know the answer to this so I will ask: Which Receiver did Elway throw the most TD passes to?

OK, I'm getting tired of reading the exact same arguments over the exact same issues for the 10,000,000th time. Let's get these trivia questions fired up again. Does anyone know the answer to this last Broncos' trivia question that Bronco Bible asked?

Bob Howsam, who in 1959 had purchased, for $25,000, the AFL franchise that
was to become the Denver Broncos, sold it in 1961 to a group headed by Kunz
and Gerry Phipps. (The only way I remember Phipps' first name is because that
is how one of my now late best friends spelled his own.) But I wasn't aware
the group took on any title.

Sounds plausible to me, but we need to have Bronco Bible confirm it. Until then...

Who let the Broncos in receiving during their 1st 6 seasons?

Ha! I knew that one so quickly!

But I'll leave that one for somebody else . . .

For now on, you are required to deprive yourself of sleep for at least 24 hours before clicking on to these trivia threads. That might make it more of a challenge for you to answer the questions.
