Guess you did give up.
Marshall started at safety for seven games during the 2004 season due to injuries in UCF's secondary. He made his first collegiate start at safety on October 4, 2004 against Buffalo. He recorded four tackles, including a half of a sack. Marshall led his entire team in tackles (51) during the 2004 season. He also had an interception and a forced fumble.
Considering his 11,000+ receiving yards, most people associate Rod Smith's success to having Elway as his QB.
How many years did Rod and John play together?
5 years? Was it '94 when he came in?
I heard that on the radio the other day. Guess I always assumed he caught the majority of his catches from Elway. To have that type of career with the likes of Griese and Plummer says a lot about his true ability. That first year he didn't play much either, so it's really 3 1/2.
