I believe that he was in his second year when he played in the Super Bowl, a converted quarterback from Tulane. Most teams tried to pick on him rather than throw against Louie on the other side, but they didn't have much success against him either! He switched to safety later in his career.

    What the heck HD?
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    Default Here's a new one!

What opposing safety layed- out Riley Odoms in the mid-70's in a Denver home game? Riley had to be helped off the field and after the game the player came over to Denver's locker room and checked on Riley and Odoms said "Damn ****, don't ever hit me like that again. You nearly killed me".

Had to be Tatum................Although, he wasn't the type of guy to go check to see how a player was after a hit.

Yes we have a winner! "Damn Tate, don't ever hit me like that again. You nearly killed me"! Tatum slapped Riley on the back and laughed. Charley Johnson threw a perfect pass that actually ended up lying on Riley for a completion after he got hammered by Tatum!

In the 1978 playoff game against the Raiders, what Runningback was credited for a Touchdown, even though he fumbled before he crossed the goal line?

Yes they sure did; remember wasn't it McCoy who picked up the ball and started running downfield? And it gets "blown dead" and Keyworth scores on the very next play. I don't think that we win that game without that "fudged-up" call!

No, I think Lyttle got credit for the TD.............right? If not, thenI 'm not sure who scored.
