Dinger didn't force Plummer to be pocket passer. Defense coordinators were able to take away the wiggles and PA rollouts that Plummer was successful with in Shanahan offense. With Plummer lack of height and arm strength passing from the pocket was only so-so and with lack of decent running game it was problem for the offense.
