Default Full Mock Draft by me

I have to say, before I started I thought this would be very difficult. After starting, I figured out it was much harder than I thought.

I will edit this post to show the rest. For now, I have the first two rounds complete. I will also edit it to where it's easier to read later on.

PS* I promise it isn't biased. I took it on a pick by pick basis and drafted according to team needs.

    Round 1
1(1) Colts Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
    Peyton Manning's replacement.
2(2) Redskins (From Rams) Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
Washington needs a franshise QB. RGIII will benefit from having a good running game.
3(3) Vikings Matt Kalil, LT, USC
Kalil will give Ponder time to throw the ball and help clear lanes for AP.
4(4) Browns Justin Blackmon, WR, OKST
Colt McCoy needs a WR. Justin Blackmon will make McCoy look a lot better.
5(5) Buccaneers Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
A solid CB will help Tampa let their defensive line loose.
6(6) Rams (From Redskins) Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
    Bradford needs protection.
7(7) Jaguars Quinton Coples, DE, UNC
Jags take the best player available and hope he doesn't become another DE bust.
8(8) Dolphins Ryan Tannehill, QB, TAMU
Tannehill will play well having a familiar face at OC.
9(9) Panthers Luke Kuechly, ILB, BC
Probably the best tackler in the draft. Ron Rivera is still a defensive guy and Carolina is still a defensive team. Look for Kuechly to quarterback the Carolina defense for many years.
10(10) Bills Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
You need CBs when you play Tom Brady twice a year. Dre will keep a WR covered while Mario Williams puts Brady on his back.
11(11) Chiefs Dontari Poe, NT, Memphis
Romeo needs a solid NT to be the cornerstone of that 3-4. The run defense has been horrible.
12(12) Seahawks Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Seattle wants an OL but there aren't really any guys on the board that you'd take over Richardson. He will help move the chains taking pressure from Flynn.
13(13) Cardinals Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
Doesn't matter who the QB will be. He needs time to throw.
14(14) Cowboys Melvin Ingram, OLB/DE, South Carolina
They just signed Brandon Carr. Ingram is the BPA and will upgrade a good LB core and will start for many years to come.
15(15) Eagles Mark Barron, SS, Alabama
Of the Eagles' team needs, Barron is the best player available.
16(16) Jets Courtney Upshaw, OLB/DE, Alabama
Touch that thang folk. Upshaw fits the mold of a Rex Ryan type player.
17(17) Bengals (From Raiders) Lamar Miller, RB, Miami
Will take pressure off of Dalton. Defenses will have to worry about the pass and the run now.
18(18) Chargers Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC
Explosive 3-4 OLB that may cause problems for Peyton Manning.
19(19) Bears Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
Good pass catcher. Player WR/TE in high school. Still a solid blocker. Will be a big help to Cutler. Also should solidify a good, well rounded Bears offense.
20(20) Titans Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
The Titans would hope for Jenkins to fill the void left by Cortland Finnegan's departure. Also, Jenkins will fill the void of Andre Johnson's sparring parter.
21(21) Bengals Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
Bengals filled their biggest hole on offense now it's time for defense. Gilmore has emerged to be arguable the third or fourth best CB in this draft. Safer pick than Jenkins.
22(22) Browns (From Falcons) Chris Polk, RB, Washington
If McCoy doesn't get it done after this draft, he's gone. Polk is a good inside runner, who fumbles less than Hillis. He is also a good pass blocker and maybe the best receiveing RB in the draft.
23(23) Lions David DeCastro, OG, Stanford
Best player with the needs that they have. Will help keep Stafford healthy for a long time.
24(24) Steelers Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
It's time to start replacing an aging Steeler's defense starting with the inside.
25(25) Broncos Devon Still, DT, Penn St
Still is probably the safest pick at DT available. Cox and Worthy would be tempting. Still has the size and smarts to really improve Denver's DT issues.
26(26) Texans Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Texans really need a WR. Michael Floyd is tempted but the arrests and injury push me away.
27(27) Patriots (From Saints) George Iloka, FS, Boise St
It's time to start building that secondary before it gets too much worse.
28(28) Packers Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
Charles Woodson can't be everywhere. Packers need secondary help.
29(29) Ravens Peter Konz, C/G, Wisconsin
Ravens re-signed Birk, but he's not getting younger. Konz could play G and move to C when Birk retires or if he goes down with injury.
30(30) 49ers Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
Very good pass blocker. The best offensive lineman left on the board. Look for the Niners to open up the passing game.
31(31) Patriots Alshon Jeffrey, WR, South Carolina
Very good target for Tom Brady. If Alshon can't excell in this offense, send him home to party with JaMarcus Russell.
32(32) Giants David WIlson, RB, Virginia Tech
Wilson should fill the void left by Brandon Jacobs to balance the offense again.

    Round 2

1(33) Rams Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Bradford has protection, now give him a target.
2(34) Colts Kevin Zeitler, OG, Wisconsin
Safe, solid pick to protect Andrew Luck.
3(35) Vikings Mohamed Sanu, WR, Rutgers
A good target to start opposite of Harvin. Much like the Rams, the QB is protected, now give him a target.
4(36) Buccaneers Antonio Allen, S, South Carolina
Versatile safety and a good tackler. Will be able to contribute right away to a Bus secondary that needs it.
5(37) Browns Zach Brown, OLB, UNC
Very athletic linebacker. He should only get better. Good fit in Cleveland's 4-3.
6(38) Jaguars Dwayne Allen, TE, Clemson
Jaguars need a pass catcher. Allen will be able to help with that as well as block for MJD. Still look for the Jags to be hunting for a WR.
7(39) Rams (From Redskins) Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan ST
Jeff Fischer won't negelct the defense that long. He gets a lot of value with Washington's pick.
8(40) Panthers Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi St
Fletcher barely slipped out of the first becase other teams had more pressing needs.
9(41) Bills Stephen Hill, WR, Georiga Tech
Will start opposite of Stevie Johnson. Hill has good size and speed. Should help Fitz right away.
10(42) Dolphins Rueben Randle, WR, LSU
Good size, hands, and blocker. Not exactly Brandon Marshall, but at least he isn't insane. Dolphins need defense help, but need a WR even more for the develpment of their rookie QB.
11(43) Seahawks Mychal Kendricks, LB, Cal
Can play ILB or OLB. Seattle needs help at both, as well as every other defensive position. Kendricks is a good start.
12(44) Chiefs Brandon Washington, OG, Miami
A good downfield blocker for Charles and Hillis. Maybe he'll keep Cassell healthy.
13(45) Cowboys Markelle Martin, FS, OKST
With the right coaching, could be a starter right now. Or atleast better than what Dallas has.
14(46) Eagles Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois
Sack machine to help pressure Eli Manning. Won't do much against the run. He is raw and I'm confident he will continue to learn and get better.
15(47) Jets Mike Adams, OT, Ohio St
A good blocker with a quick first step. He should keep ends from getting to Tebow too early.
16(48) Patriots (From Raiders) Jayron Hosley, CB/PR, Virginia Tech
Another piece in building the Patriot's secondary.
17(49) Chargers Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida State
Can play left or right tackle. San Diego has questions at both.
18(50) Bears Kelechi Osemele, G/OT, Iowa State
Maybe he can keep Cutler from injuring his (female reproductive system)
19(51) Eagles (From Cardinals) Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma St
Mature quarterback. Won't be replacing Vick as the face of Philly. Could step in and play when Vick gets injured.
20(52) Titans Andre Branch, DE, Clemson
Branch should help with the Titan's less than stellar pass rush.
21(53) Bengals Harrison Smith, SS, Notre Dame
Current SS Chris Crocker is turning 32. Smith has the potential to start now.
22(54) Lions Doug Martin, RB, Boise St
The Lions just can't get it right at RB. They get a well rounded back in Doug Martin.
23(55) Falcons Bobby Massie, OT, Ole Miss
Could be the future blindside blocker for Matt Ryan.
24(56) Steelers Vontaze Burfict, ILB, ASU
The next great flag magnet. Someone should tell Pittsburgh that those yellow flags aren't the same as their "Terrible Towels".
25(57) Broncos Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson
Denver solidifies their DT positions by taking another DT. If both players pan out, they won't have to worry about their DL for a long time.
26(58) Texans Brock Osweiler, QB, ASU
Brock would have time to learn the position from Gary Kubiak until Matt Schaub retires (or gets injured).
27(59) Packers Vinny Curry, OLB/DE, Marshall
Will play opposite of Clay Matthews to help bring him up to the Super Bowl season status.
28(60) Ravens Nick Toon, WR, Wisconsin
Toon has good size and hands. Will be a decent possession target for Flacco.
29(61) 49ers Amini Silatolu, OG, Miswestern State
Small school stud. Should fit nice into Harbaugh's offensive line. Could start at RG.
30(62) Patriots Ben Jones, C, Georgia
Could be the Pats long term solution at Center.
31(63) Giants Orson Charles, TE, Georgia
Good blocker. Good receiver. Good weapon for Eli Manning.

1st round - I just don't get Floyd not being in the 1st, especially after Wright & Jeffrey... I don't get Jenkins when Gilmore is sitting there nor Cox that low...

It's also hard to see teams reaching for Miller & Polk when there's that much value still on the board...

Why would Carolina take Luke Kuechly? They have already have a Pro Bowl guy named John Beason coming back from injury that fills the MLB position.

Truthfully. I picked an OG then realized Kuechley hadn't been picked. I saw many different sourced say Carolina needs a LB. They probably need an OLB rather than MLB since try have Beason. Maybe Kuechley or Beason moves outside. Idk. It's hard to make decisions for teams you don't follow at all nor a team you really like at all.

I'm not a big fan of Floyd. I like Jeffrey and Wright more.

Tennessee probably likes the talent of Jenkins. A mock or two I've seen had him almost in the top 10.

Miller and Polk seem like value to me.

    9. Carolina Panthers: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
I've been mocking Dontari Poe to the Panthers ever since the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine, but I think I'm going to shy away from that. Poe is a phenomenal athlete and has immense upside, but I don't think he can be a top-10 pick based on his film. He just didn't show up in too many games.

Many are slotting Poe or another defensive tackle here, but Luke Kuechly is arguably the best prospect available. The Panthers really like him, and with no obvious player to select, they may just pull the trigger on the top linebacker in the 2012 NFL Draft. Kuechly doesn't fill a huge need, but the position has to be addressed because Thomas Davis is way too unreliable. The blue-chip Boston College prospect is way too talented to fall very far.

Texans fans want Kendall Wright which is perhaps the best reason the Texans won't take him. Their history is to take their position of most need with the guy nobody expected them to take (Watt was nowhere on alleged radar last season, even though a d-lineman was).

As for Osweller, I don't see it happening. The Texans are happy with Yates behind Schaub as their #2 and I just don't see them ready to grab a backup QB in the second round, particularly with a need to find depth for the departed Mario Williams and Demeco Ryans.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Jeffrey has a red flag because of his weight problems, Scouts don't trust him. Jenkins may be a top 10 talent but he's not worth a 1st rounder as he's a good favorite to be out of the league in a couple years, if not sooner... he's a GM killer...

Bengals #1 need after WR is CB... you could have taken Gilmore at 17, Glenn at 21 (#3 need with no depth) & Doug Martin in the 2nd. They signed Green-Ellis but Martin would take over for Benson.

I'll give you a pass on Polk... though I think it's funny you took Brown in the 2nd because I would have flipped them so we would have wound up with the same players... lol
