Stafford Pretty In Pink
Days before the biggest weekend of his life, Matthew Stafford needs a clothing consultant - stat.
In his sit-down ESPN interview with the fashionable Erin Andrews, Stafford arrives in an ill-fitting camel-colored suit with a pink dress shirt, a darker pink tie and a matching pink hanky protruding from the suit pocket.
Now, if you're a gangsta wide receiver you can make this outfit work with large gold chains and some diamond-studded earrings and perhaps a couple of hoes on your side but for a white-boy QB from Texas, it just looks laughable.
If you're the Detroit Lions, does it make you pause just a little that you're going to pay mega-millions to a guy who parades around in pink? Now, if he had one those breast cancer awareness ribbons, I might cut him some slack but otherwise he needs to find himself a more macho color if his new teammates are going to have any confidence in him.
