“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

With Curry willing to accept a deal with the Lions equal to or a little less than what Chris Long received last year and Stafford wants more. If Curry is taken with the Lions how does affect the top draft, if it does at all????

ESPN is reporting that the "deal is done". Martin Mayhew is meeting with owner William Clay Ford to get approval on the deal with Stafford.

I honestly feel sorry for lion fans

A young strong armed qb for 38mil is the last thing that franchise should be doing.

Once Detroit gets their deal done and if it happens to be today, can the Rams start their negotiations and if they get a deal done then Chiefs....so forth and so on or do they have to wait till Sat. It would make for a speedy first day of drafting unless there are some trading going on.

As far as Raji, Cleveland sounds to be really warming to him???

the team with the first overall pick is the only one that's allowed to negotiate a contract in advance. . . .
