Here is an interesting mock draft from ESPN. Using this years draft order and using draft choices from the history of NFL drafts. Poor Elway still can't get a break.

available upon the time that Denver selected.

Is the objective to predict what the Broncos would actually do or what the poster would prefer to do?

2009 NFL Draft
1a. Tyson Jackson-DE (LSU)
1b. Clint Sintim-OLB (Virginia)
2. Ron Brace-DT (Boston College)
3a. Nic Harris-SS (Oklahoma)
3b. Ramses Barden-WR (Cal Poly SLO)
4. Worrell Williams-ILB (California)
5. Coye Francies-CB (San Jose State)
6. Nader Abdallah-DE/DT (Ohio State)
7a. Ian Johnson-RB (Boise State)
7b. Chase Patton-QB (Missouri)
I did a lot of thinking during work so I thought I'd change it up a bit. I like Nic Harris behind Patrick Chung and Louis Delmas. He's a physical safety with great size and can play the box to support the run.
I went with Ramses Barden with the second 3rd round pick. I maybe a little biased because he is my favorite receiver in this draft. But his size and hands are way too hard to ignore. With Marshall facing a possible suspension, I would think the Broncos would have some insurance.
I have Jasper Brinkley going somewhere in the late 2nd round-early 3rd round, so he won't be there for the Broncos. Instead, I have DJ's younger brother Worrell, who at the 4th round would be one of the last remaining serviceable ILB's available.
I saw a few people having Ian Johnson going in the 7th. I didn't have him originally going to the Broncos but I thought about it a lot. He's an underrated back who has great speed and hands. It would be a steal if he got into the 7th round for the Broncos to take.
Coye Francies has decent speed, but he has great reaction time and is not afraid to be physical. He can learn a lot from Champ Bailey.
And Chase Patton is my dark horse. If McDaniels wants a QB that no one really knows about, but has plenty of potential, Patton is the guy. Has the physical tools, much more mobile than Chase Daniels, and has a strong arm. McDaniels can groom this guy like he did with Cassel.
