My son trying on his Halloween costume, he didn't understand why I had him pose like that... thanks PhotoShop!

That picture is going to complicate your insurance claim satisfaction.

As long as it wasn't intentional, it's always covered if it ends in fire.

"Yeah, we were...uh...escaping these magma flows that suddenly appeared in our family room."

    "Escaping?"

"Right. By leaping back and forth on furniture islands."

"And you say this magma just appeared?"

"Yeah. Mysterious. And terrifying. But also fun, in an end-of-the-world sense."

    "Ok, you're good."

    "Wait, really?

"Yeah, we'll just assume a fissure opened up directly under your fireplace and it spilled out from there."

"Mmm. Now that you mention it, I do recall some magma burbling out from the fireplace. Just before we arranged the furniture at difficult but not impossible distances."

"You might have a premium adjustment."

"Well, yeah, that's natural I guess. Good day."

    "Good day."

I'm just amazed my wife was so calm with taking the pictures. She's usually not so cool in spontaneous lava situations.

I though the play on words was subtle and well executed.

Had a rally near my job today for Pat Bowlen day ahead of his recognition of his Hall of Fame induction at Sunday's game, and who did I happen to run into? Just my BEST FRIENDS STEVE ATWATER & ROD SMITH!

My work friends were nervous to bug them, but they were totally cool and apparently I lose my filter when I run into two of my favorite players saunter by and just pestered them for a picture. Atwater is still an imposing beast and Rod was cool as hell to talk to.
