Fixing the camp after The Flood of 2018.
We had 4 feet of water inside and pretty much had to gut it.
The latest trip up, this one, we finally got the deck re-attached.
New floors are going down mid-July.
With any luck we'll be back in by mid August.
I put the bottom pic in to show where the water level in the lake usually is.
There's about a 20 foot difference in elevation between the front edge of the deck and the normal water level in the lake.

Just got back from a road trip to Los Angeles and had a blast. Went to a few beaches and saw Universal Studios and just got to be an obnoxious tourist for a week. Stayed at a great Air BnB in Hollywood, too:

I hope you went on the Jurassic Park ride because they are gonna close and shut down the ride for good. The final ride will be on September 3rd, 2018.

We skipped the Jurassic Park ride because the line was ridiculous and from what I remember going on it when I was younger it wasn't that great. The Harry Potter ride was amazing, though. I don't even know much about that series and I loved every minute of it. Even the wait was cool with all the talking paintings.
We did do the studio tour. I miss the old King Kong that shook the bridge but the new one was cool with the 3-D effects. The Fast and Furious part was kind of cheesy, though.
