Palm Tree Pruning! I've spent hours and hours trimming on this 40 ft palm tree! A hell of a lot of work and I took a risk to do it with my 10 ft ladder. I got several cut from branches with sharp saw-teeth. One branch fell down and hit my safety eyeglasses. Damn! Whew! I am done! I might have to take it down because it could break down during the heavy windstorm or keep it.
Tips: Do not buy "Mexican" Palm Tree from nursery stores or at Home Depot. It is a lot of work and it has many sharp saw-teeth on branches. It grew up to 40 ft and it was tough to reach many dead palm leaves. I purchased the wrong one. I've learned my lesson and more research is needed before I purchase any kind of tropical tree or plants. Dwarf palm trees are highly recommended. (Sighs) My work is done with this 13-year old palm tree.
