They did actually, he didn't have a full on heart attack. He started having serious chest pains, went in and had a cath done and basically told him he needed open heart to clear that out. What is crazy is he did a stress test earlier that year and said his heart was in great shape...

Unfortunately the stress tests don't really show the whole story. I've often wondered why there isn't some sort of non-invasive imaging for the heart available as preventive care. Why not some sort of angiogram or the like where they inject dye into the bloodstream and then take images to detect if there are any blockages. I knows the dye they use can be rough on the kidneys, so that's probably why, but there has to be a good solution for preventive cardiac care.

There is something. I have no idea how effective it is.

I'm sure it's better than nothing, and for only 50$? Wow. Good on them for offering it and at such an affordable price. If I lived in Oklahoma I'd go get it done.

Good grief. I'm going to have nightmares tonight. Thanks, Dave.

    *Mr Peanut's. It's possessive.

*Mr. Peanut's. The abbreviation for the honorific requires a full stop. Unless you are British or from one of its colonies.
