Some of the horses from back home.
ItsaBuzz, one of my folks racehorses. Just days before he had his first race, and finished 3rd.
Buzz's little brother Daniel. Just a yearling.
My racehorse, Hey Baybee Grand (or the Babe), with her 2nd foal, Billy (the kid), he was one week old.
One of my parents horses, Rebecca, with her foal, who was born with a deformed back leg. He had to be put down, but we did get a foster foal for her.

That's actually where my screen name came from. There were three Davis' in my platoon in boot camp, the Drill Instructors just referred to us as "Davii". The nickname stuck. To this day there is always someone at a unit I go to that knows about it and calls me Davii.
I get called Davii every once in a while, sometimes Davey Crocket or Dave Dogg. Most of my friends just call me Dave. I'm not really sure why, it must just be easier and quicker to say. It stuck, but I kind of like it. I'll ask my dad if he had any nicknames along those lines.

Most all my horses I have bought at five to six months of age and raise them, break and train them. It's easier to get what you want out of one that away. They just fit you better. My favorite bloodlines are those of Driftwood, Doc Bar and Colonel Freckles. We have five stil now and all are Driftwood/Doc Bar cross.
