I just remember how hot the guy looked when he was jumping off that hill into a stream with a tomahawk.

SR, I now have another place on my bucket list to go to. I almost went there 3 years ago but the plans were cancelled.

I have a ton more photos of the Hills. They're beautiful. There's a lot more to the Black Hills than Custer State Park. Spearfish Canyon is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and it's about an hour north and west of Rapid. You gotta go though...sooooo much to see.

The farther east you go in SD, the shittier it gets. Anything past the Badlands is pretty flat and boring. Supposedly there are some cool areas by the Missouri River, but I haven't ventured over that way yet. The next place I want to go is the Badlands though. Right west of Rapid City are the Black Hills though. From the top of the hill behind my house you can actually see the peak of the mountain that Mt Rushmore is on with your naked eye and the top of George Washington with a good pair of binoculars. It's pretty crazy all of the history and what not associated with the Hills; some good, a lot bad.

I was there when I was a kid. My aunt and uncle lived in Upton, WY. We used to go to the Black Hills camping but it's been a loooong time. Time for me to get back there for sure. Thankd for posting the pics, more incentive for me to make it back.

Here's a few more pictures for you. The things sticking up at the top of the mountain are called Funeral Spires Monument. It's much more impressive in person.
