Default Who is your WTF pick?

Less than 2 weeks away from the draft now. Cutler has been dealt and the team needs appear to be clear. We obviously all have our own opinions of the biggest needs and who should be picked. I also think most of us are rational enough to realize that even if you don't get "your" guy, that there are still chocies who you'd be cool with. Example is as much as I want Sintim at #18, I understand the thinking behand a choice of Maualuga at that spot. As much as I like TJax at #12, if a Raji, Crabtree or Maclin fell or Everette Brown was picked, I could deal w/ those given the team needs. I know not all want TJax at #12, but I think they also get why he would be a solid choice.

I wanna know who your WTF (what the frick) picks are. You know, that name that would make you irate if you knew he was in a plane to Denver on draft day cuz we took him in round 1.

I think it's quite obvious that OT would be perplexing, but it's not realistic that McD would go that route. I do NOT want a QB, but if Sanchez lasted til 12, I'd understand it if we took him to groom. Just don't trade up for him. I have a few WTFs at #12. They are:

    1) Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State- Again, I get it if Sanchez is there. he has true potential. Some don't like him, but I at least see it. Taking Freeman at #12 (or even at 18) tells me that what McD has been saying about Orton being his guy is a complete farce. I don't see what the hype is about and I really don't want him in Denver.

    2) Robert Ayers, DE/OLB, Tennessee- Maybe he'll end up being a good pro, but where the hell did this dude come from. He was merely a solid contributor for the Vols. Pedestrian sack totals and it took him a while to crack the starting lineup. MAYBE at 18 if we get a DLineman...err...scratch that. I'd still be pissed. To me, a good workout isn't enough to mask 4 years of mediocrity.

    3) Clay Matthews, OLB, USC- This guy is a 3rd round talent. Sorry USC fans. It is what it is. I get that he can play OLB and we may have a need there, but other options include Everette Brown, Brian Cushing and Clint Sintim. All of whom will be available at #12 and could still be there at #18. Cushing doesn't have the pass rush skills of an Orakpo, Brown or Maybin and he isn't as big as Sintim or Cushing. Of the 3 USC LBs, I believe HE is the dude who is overrated due to the talent around him

wtf- trading up for anyone in the top 10.

maclin-wr- seems like a asshely lelie to me.
    freeman- nuff said.
    michael johnson
    ron brace

Any of those at 12 and i will eat a horse.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I really hope we don't draft a corner back, wide receiver, quarterback, or left tackle at 12. At 18 I say we go best player available unless that is Josh Freeman.

I can GUARANTEE that BPA at 18 is not Josh Freeman.

    percy harvin, vontae davis, derius heyward-bay. . . .

    or any quarterback. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
