There is a story in today's Denver Post that says the Broncos should consider trading their #12 and a 3rd round pict to Jax to move up and get Raji at the #8 pick assuming he is still there at #8.

I would do it. JAX needs an OT and a WR. I don't think Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe will be there at #8, but Crabtree might. If he was gone they might be interested as they could probably get the next OT, Andre Smith, at #12.

That would allow us to get Raji and maybe Maualuga at #18.

I wont ever claim to be a draftnik but it wouldn't surprise me if Crabtree is there at the 8th pick if they want him.

I agree. I think they will take Andre Smith or a Wide Receiver (Crabtree, Maclin) at pick #8

It's quite possible Raji drops that far, but I'm not sure he does. I'm not a big fan of trading up, I like having picks -- but if the Broncos feel that Raji is someone worth moving up for and he can be a centerpiece at NT in our 3-4 scheme; I'll be behind that decision. I think Raji is worth moving up for definitely if Nolan is going to run a hybrid defensive scheme. Meaning that we'll see 4-3 and 3-4 variations. That just maximizes Raji's value to us, IMHO. If that's not the case, there are several other NT types I think would upgrade this team.

Tyson Jackson fits that scenario as well, that is why I think it is vital to either get Raji or Jackson for the Dline.

Exactly, and which is why I think the Broncos would heavily consider Malcom Jenkins as well. When players have multiple scheme versatility, they almost become "invaluable" in a way. I don't think Jenkins slides to #18, but if he were there at that selection and we got either Raji or Jackson at #12, I'd be absolutely thrilled.

i dont agree with OT as a need they need a # 1 WR or a CB, davis is a risk at 8, i see crabtree or maclin being jax's pick at 8.....

i also dont see andre smith going past cincy at 6.....

on tape the guy is probally one of the most dominating tackles out there even more so than jason smith. yes he has maturity issues, but that doesnt take from the fact of just how important he was to his former teams success. i guarentee after all his maturity issues scouts went back and reviewed tape to see if it was even worth it.

what they found???? the guy is still a top 5 tackle in this draft.....
