    Default Don Banks New Mock

    #12 Everette Brown
    #18 Peria Jerry

My question is can Peria Jerry actually hold down the NT spot? If he can then I think we should look at him in round 1. So what do you guys think?

They were saying that he is 315 lbs or something. Other places had him listed at 300 lbs. But he is 6'3".

If he is strong as a horse it could work, but a guy like Raji is 335 and 6'1". A strong bowling ball that can pick-up and hold double teams.

Don't know is Peria can do this or not.

Theres no way he could play nose tackle.. if anything he'd be a 5 technique in Denver.

agreed, this would be a horrible pick

the only NT that should be taken in Round 1 is Raji

This guy is a DT, not a NT..... Terrance Taylor would be a much better NT, and we could get him in prolly round 4 or maybe even 5......Taylor is a beast

    Tyson Jackson
    Connor Barwin

that mock draft also had crabtree falling to 11, not happening i could see him going as high as pick #2 (it prolly wont happen but i wouldnt be suprised)

He will definately not get passed jacksonville

Taylor is like 6'0" and 330 lbs. Right size anyway.

As mentioned Jerry would suck as a 2-gapper. He would be a DE in Denver and I would take Tyson over Jerry all day at 12 or 18.

If we were staying 4-3 Jerry would be near the top of our board IMO.

Charles Davis posted his mock on nfl.com yesterday.

at 12 he has us taking Raji and at 18 Maybin

I would seriously crap my pants if we got both of those guys in the first. I don't even think either will be there at 12, but GD if we got them both I would cut a rug.

he's actually only 306..... he has the frame though where he could get up in weight much higher, but he works hard, and he's the strongest defensive player in this draft, and second strongest player in this draft (atleast going by combine)

no he cant hold down NT, brown is great pick at 12. but jerry is a penetrating DT that doesnt even project well as 5 technique......if we pick jerry over tyson jackson i would be very upset.

now if we still played a full time 4-3 i would be interested, but he is not a run stopper at all....
