Default Who I think we should draft.

Quarterback is definitely a glaring weakness so I say we go with Mark Sanchez or Matt Stafford. Heck I'd even take Graham Harrel. I don't want to wait for Bradford or McCoy. I don't like those two. They just rub me the wrong way like Tom Brady.

We definitely need a viable starter at running back I know we signed a bunch of running backs but none of them have full starter potential. I would like Chris Wells, Knowshon Moreno, or Shonn Greene.

no way draft a qb this year, we need defense first. next year we will be in better position to work on such matters if it appears to be a necessity

We had the worst "D" in the league last year. So............ yeah, lets draft a QB at #12 and a RB at #18.
    Sounds like a great plan.

Nut- we will be taking a QB this year in the draft. However, it will not be before the 4th rd.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

well we do have 2 3rd rd picks and we looked at pat white in Qb drills, so its possible we take white in rd 3.....

I bet ya pat white falls to the 4th or 5th rd.

But i get what you are saying. And most mocks say pat is a 3rd. But its a gut feeling on my behalf.

no way he falls that far, steelers think he should be a 1st rd pick

I doubt he makes it past the pats 2nd 2nd round pick

i would even be suprised eif he made it to the 3rd round

Does it matter which year we do it?
Why defense this year and QB next year?
Why not QB this year and defense next year.
I say if we draft those this year and we do poorly this season we have higher draft picks for next year!

We can use the rest of the picks on defense. We would still have 8 left.

i did, indeed. wow, i was way off.

don't hate on kyle. he'll get it done better than a rookie and will allow us to further improve the defense. he fits what McD wants out of a QB and he's only 26.

yes, if we draft a QB on day one (which will almost certainly mean trading up for sanchez) then i will probably have to eat more food so that i have something to puke because i already will have puked all my puke.

    ...and over '...those mountains.'

...which could be handy in Denver.
