I don't know about that. Orton has 1 year on his contract I believe, so this could be a prove yourself year for him. I he doesn't work out we spent most of our picks on defense and an early RB which would help a young QB so a QB could be targeted next year with one of our firsts.

NE always carried three QB's on the roster. I don't really see us bringing in another veteran, so I'm thinking QB in the later rounds.

i love patrick chung but he is a SS, we have 2 in barrett and dawkins, we only have 1 half viable FS in hill, FS is the greater need.....however i wouldnt be mad if we drafted chung, but i do not belive barret has what it takes to play FS long term......

Ed Reed used to play SS, safety you can switch postitions especially from college to pro

we will be forced to go waiver wire searching again for clavin lowry's, do you really want that. you can still fix the front seven, but your kidding yourself if you dont think FS is a high need for this team.....we have a 36 year old safety, a 31 year old safety, a youthful rookie that cant play FS effectively and loses focus way to much in games, plus a coupel waiver wire bums....i would say FS is as big a need as any.....

Chung is really the only safety want this year (atleast high draft pick wise) wait till next year, we could get berry, mays, or even Myron Rolle(expected to enter draft next year, and his stock will really be hurt by not playing football for a year)
