People read way too much into teams being or not being represented at Pro Day's. A lot of teams just don't go because it costs a shit ton of money.

Please not another overhyped USC QB. That's all I ask of McDaniels but some scouts think otherwise. Like I said in another thread NFL QBs from Purdue seems to be more successful than NFL QBs from USC.
Claymore, go get my ice cream.
I wouldn't be upset if we went Sanchez at #12, BUT we have 2 #1s next year as a safety net in case Orton doesn't perform well.
stafford is good value at 12 and 18.....
sanchez in my opinion isnt even good value in the late 20's.
the guy has 1 year of college ball under his belt, despite all these great workouts and wowing of scouts the guy will choke in the pros, just like all the other 1 year college starting qb's did before him.....
i'd take Sanchez before I'd take Stafford, and if Sanchez is available, then I think we have to take him and see what happens.
^^ this ^^
i took the "McDaniels should get bent if drafts either one of them" option. . . i'd like to see what neck beard can do behind a much better pass-blocking O-line and with a much better group of receivers before we burn a high pick on a totally green QB. . . cripes, can't we just fix the _efense already? honestly, who thinks shenanigans couldn't have polished this offense into a lethal machine given another year or two. . . if doogie can't fix the D, this whole thing has just been a debacle. . .
i like knowshon or tyson jackson, maaaybe malcolm jenkins at 12 if raji and brown are gone. . . . at 18 i'd obviously take any of those guys if they're still there, and i'd also look at larry english, clay matthews, or possibly clint sintim. . . and i wouldn't mind maualuga at 18 either, although i really think OLB is a more immediate need. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
I think if we trade a qb for first round picks only to turn around and use a first on a QB that is simply a waste of what we got in the trade.
That is almost just turning around and trading your QB for a rookie QB, what is the point.
If we don't use all those picks we got, or atleast all the firsts on defensive players I personally think it will be one of the most moronic deals we have ever done.
we are going to draft a rb and a de/olb in the first. Unless raji falls, which he might. I thought jax would take raji- they still might, but they also imo are going to consider wells/moreno (moreson Moreno) and sanchez. But Raji, moreno, shanchez imo would be their top 3.
They have similiar needs to us.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
