...they always act tuff in the club, cause they know i just got searched at the door.
One thing to remember, though; it's only when Cutler was inserted into the lineup when Marshall and Scheffler started to shine. Stokley's career was resurrected with Cutler as his QB, and Royal was able to emerge immediately as a rookie. Not saying it was all Cutler's doing, but he does make his receivers better, and vice versa.
Not saying it will happen in Chicago, or that they have the ability to acquire offensive talent like the Goodmans, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.
I'd say he's done a pretty good job of it.
Scheffler(40 receptions), Royal(91), Graham(32), Stokley(49), Marshall(104)
He spreads the ball around a lot, and in one of the NFL vids, they showcase Cutler's strengths, and one they highlight is how he sees the whole field and goes through his progressions.
He does like to focus a lot on his #1 receiver, but that's a conscious choice; the analysts were saying that Haley was trying to get Warner to focus in on Fitz more, even with the double teams. Some adhire to that thinking, and others don't.
I think it will be interesting to see cutler operating with a solid running game and defense. He has got to start mixing it up while still being a threat with his arm.
Shanahan as the Chicago Bear's next head coach. That's what he walks into.
In Elway We Trust
The Bears better upgrade their WR core and Offensive schemes and they better not even try to suggest that Cutler try to improve his game. Cutler is perfect just the way he is and so everyone else better try to catch up to his level.

Good point.
Most young QBs are usually asked to manage the offense, not carry it. The Falcons and Ravens coaching staff did a great job by not overwhelming their QBs, letting their rushing offense and their defense dominate the game plan.
In his 3rd season, Cutler's been given a somewhat reverse approach that most coaches wouldn't trust on their young QBs. Now, Cutler must learn to trust his defense and rushing offense to do their job, and play accordingly.
Shouldn't this be in "other team discussion"?
When did Earl Bennet suddenly become a legitimate pro receiver? because his college QB is with him now? Weak.
