Default State of the Draft: Broncos Picks / Rumors / Etc.

I figured it would be apt to start a thread which we'd be able to update regarding pick acquisitions (likely coming with Cutler trade) along with any other rumors people here in regards to prospect interest and all that jazz. How does that sound? Without further adieu. . . here are the picks we have:

    2009 NFL Draft Selections
    • 12
    • 18 (Chicago, Cutler Trade)
    • 48
    • 79
    • 84 (Chicago, Cutler Trade)
    • 114
    • 149
    • 185
    • 225
    • 235 (Atlanta, Foxworth Trade)

#140, which was acquired from the Seahawks for Keary Colbert was sent to the Bears with Cutler

Updated with all information regarding the Cutler trade now, assuming we get their first and thirds this year. Also, know that we have their first in 2010, and we have Dallas' fifth because of the Holland trade.

The 1st rounder we get from the Bears next year will be 25th or worse.

    Not a big deal.

Well, we need to get busy finding replacements for the 30, 30, 30 and 35 year old "D" backs that McD brought in..

Some good teams that have good selections and could be a decent trade partners.

We all know what the lions pics

    Lions first 5 rounds

    Round 1, Pick 1 (1)
    Round 1, Pick 20 (20) (From Dallas )
    Round 2, Pick 1 (33)
    Round 3, Pick 1 (65)
    Round 3, Pick 18 (82) (From Dallas )

But a couple teams that might be interested in trading up...

Minus the Skins the other NFC East teams have ammo and could move up. Specialy if we are talking to all three and rather trade up then have their cempititor do it for a specific player.

    Eagles first 5 rounds

    Round 1, Pick 21 (21)
    Round 1, Pick 28 (28) (From Carolina)
    Round 2, Pick 21 (53)
    Round 3, Pick 21 (85)
    Round 4, Pick 21 (121)
    Round 5, Pick 5 (141) (From Cleveland)
Round 5, Pick 17 (153) (From New York Jets)
    Round 5, Pick 21 (157)
Round 5, Pick 23 (159) (From New England)

    Cowboys first 5 rounds

    Round 2, Pick 19 (51)
    Round 3, Pick 5 (69) (From Cleveland)
    Round 4, Pick 1 (101) (From Detroit)
    Round 4, Pick 17 (117)
    Round 5, Pick 20 (156)

    Giants first 5 rounds

    Round 1, Pick 29 (29)
Round 2, Pick 13 (45) (From New Orleans)
    Round 2, Pick 28 (60)
    Round 3, Pick 27 (91)
    Round 3, Pick 36 (100) (Compensatory selection)
    Round 4, Pick 29 (129)
Round 5, Pick 15 (151) (From New Orleans)
    Round 5, Pick 28 (164)

Got the former team of McD... Great selections and have the ammo to make a couple huge moves!

    Patriots first 5 rounds

    Round 1, Pick 23 (23)
Round 2, Pick 2 (34) (From Kansas City)
Round 2, Pick 15 (47) (From San Diego)
    Round 2, Pick 26 (58)
    Round 3, Pick 25 (89)
    Round 3, Pick 33 (97) (Compensatory selection)
    Round 4, Pick 24 (124)
    Round 5, Pick 34 (170) (Compensatory selection)

The bears come to my town for camp every year. Jay Cutler may have an accident to ensure us a better draft choice next year.

yea, mastershake will make you sticky all over. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
