Thread: Poll issue...

Tried to (and successfully did, I believe) vote in the poll here....

That happened to me but I thought it to be a fluke of some kind. So I wasn't the only one.

ditto. I'll contact vB support and try and find out what is happening. It's possible the nightly processes will fix it.

Hey... been meaning to ask for a while now... but I just checked again...

When I'm on the Website's main directory... not the Forum index... and I log in.... it appears as though I haven't logged in. It does the whole 'please wait while we redirect...' then it still has the login boxes.

If I click any of the links though, I'm clearly logged in anywhere else.

Not a big deal...

This is simply a method vB uses to distinguish homosexual posters. Please don't be alarmed.

Didn't think that it was worth its own thread.

I know MO up and quit or something.

But is it possible that someone could write a new article for the forums... or if not, could we get a different article put up on the front page, or that part closed down if none of the articles team is going to participate?

When I log in from work, I have all history and cookies deleted from previous nights, so I type it in by hand and have to remember the /forums. If I don't... I end up at the front page... which I never use (and tends to pretend you're not logged in even when you are).

Anyway. I forget a lot. And It gets old seeing 'Matt Cassel was nearly a bronco and Jay Cutler went drama queen'...

Anyway... doubt that it'll get fixed, but I feel better for venting.

Shoot me a PM to remind me to look at it. Been prepping for two fantasy baseball drafts and getting ready for a trip on Monday, but I will take a look on Sunday.

Also, between now and the draft I would like to completely redo the front/home page. Not sure how yet, but a completely new look.

I don't think it'd be widely accepted here the way it is on Mania.

I recently ran across a similar complaint on Mania... this is almost certainly a vBulletin issue... but if I remember right, the complaint was about something that happened a few months ago... which would be pre-upgrade. Doubt that helps you Tned... but thought I'd point it out anyway.
