Default Well....Mark Sanchez at #12 Overall now becomes the favorite.

The Broncos do not want the #1 Overall pick regardless, it's unlikely Stafford is an option, even if we trade with Detroit for #20 and #33, Stafford probably wouldn't get past Seattle at #4 and definitely not past SF at #10.

Thus, we are now firmly headed for a Sanchez collision. He's a mobile QB with the same traits, though more talented, than Matt Cassel. He represents solid draft value at #12, so that part is good as well. The question is will he be there?

I don't imagine he goes before #12 unless someone trades up to #11 with Buffalo, which unfortunately happens to be a very, very high probability due to Buffalo likely wanting to trade back a little to make Pettigrew more affordable. The Jets, Bucs, and Bears are potential Sanchez snatchers, though you have to believe from what has been previously reported that the Jets will be the most likely landing spot for Cutler.

And finally, even if Cutler is not traded due to insufficient offers, we still draft Sanchez and groom him while Cutler spends another year on the team or winds down his contract.

Regardless, if looks like Chris Simms will be starting Week 1 now. Yikes!

Dude, we're not going for a QB in the first-round.

Especially with the Quarterback Whisperer now coaching the Denver Broncos, he doesn't need talented players.......

I'm not so sure. Sanchez could be the best available player at #12. We were in a bit of a quandry before because all the top guys that we could really use will likely be gone. Leaving RB as the best available.

Out of a QB or RB, the QB has more value. I'm not sure there is going to be a defensive player worth taking at #12 Overall. I definitely don't believe in taking a 3-4 DE at that point.

If we trade to the Jets, we will get the #17 Overall pick, and that sets us up to select Tyson Jackson, a RB, or a DE/OLB prospect much better in terms of draft value than at #12, but Sanchez would be gone.

With limited options as it stands for #12 Overall (in the most likely scenarios), Sanchez easily becomes the best value in my eyes. Of course, he still has to make it there. Seattle is looking at him at #4, though that value seems too high. Jacksonville is looking at him very strongly at #8. SF might be looking at him at #10, though I think they go with Andre Smith if he's still around instead.

Honestly, from where I sit, regardless of what Jets fans "want", they're not going to get Cutler. Mc******** knows Denver's BIGGEST need is along the defensive line and linebacker. We won't trade Cutler to a team that cannot fairly compensate. The Browns look like the most likely landing spot for Cutler because they've got what we would need in return. I'd be more than happy to see Brady Quinn in a Broncos uniform.

i've called brady quinn a fag way too many times for me to be happy for him to become a bronco, but he's looking like a fairly good option if he can somehow be brought in.

i do not want sanchez in any way. dude will fail.

*facepalm* I HATE Sanchez. Guaranteed failure IMO. If his name is called at #12 overall (or any other pick we get now), I will literally punch my TV.

i dont buy sanchez at 12. MCd is a patriot hippy. patriots do not draft first rd Qb's. He will look for his guy later on in the draft or he will scan the second string Qb's and previous draft picks backing up for what he feels he wants.

I do belive the jets are the landing spot, because they have a very good spread Qb on the roster in ratliff. I think he would fit MCd system

i also belive we can win with ratliff, seriously. I think he can and would beat out chris simms for the starting gig, and i think people would be pleasnatly suprised by him.

He also in some inner scouts circles was the favorite to be the jets Qb next year before this culter thing. He posses alot of things valuable to the pros....

I could easliy see us trading for the 17th pick, and 3rd rd pick this year, plus a 1st next year and brett ratliff. plus we dont play the jets this year....thats a good thing...

we also end up looking good for next year with 2 first rd picks....can you say NT, S (Cody, berry for instance...) heck we might be able to win some games with defense for a change.
