My backgrounds blue...if you have firefox, you can use custom backgrounds, and some users on there made some pretty cool ones. I like that blue better than the original, to be honest.

I saw that, and it was from a bunch of newbs who wouldn't know JR from Joe Schmoe. Their loss, not his. Those newbs are a big part of the non attractive parts of that forum. For what it's worth.

I hated it during game days when all the good threads would instantly be buried under 12 threads that would have titles like "ZOMG! Our Defense Sux!!!!!!!!", or "Let's get (insert name here)!!!!!!!!!" 2 minutes after he was released....there was always 3 or 4 of these a week.

Searing white background did it for me.

It might sound small, but seriously, when they changed it I could not look at the boards for more than a few minutes before I started getting headaches.

I remember him from years ago. If memory serves, he was the one that came up with the CP system in the first place. Then he got banned for something and promised that he would never be back. I was shocked to see that it looks like he's running the place now.

And RYO. Yea, I've been reading the forums and stuff. I can still log in but I just cant post or anything. Pretty sad.

I posted at mania a few times (under a different name) and it was a waste of my life. I remember some guy sent me an email regarding one of my posts, He wasn't even an admin just some douche getting in my business. I was all like then thought about it some more and was like and finally came to the conclusion that that place was .

like I said Like I care left there Sep 07 and went back once to see how Tneds post went and at the time they did not seem to care if they lost folks..

a lot of quality poster from there moved here and we have added more form the freak and an few from the mane..

I'd rather have quality posts

Quality not quantity.

I didn't even know the Mania still existed.....

I say if anyone goes back there and posts constructive criticism, do as you wish just don't let them know where you left too. This place is a secret to most of those ....shhhhhhhhhhh...

hope mtn_man is having fun with all the kiddos over there

reminds me I worked for Avis for a long time and the motto there at the time was Because we are number Two, We have to try harder..

the inside joke from those Hertz agents that would talk about it. Was they would say "When your number one you do not have to try at all"..

After spending alot of years there and the issues we were having there, I used that phrase with steve in a PM when I left.

When I did not get a reply, I felt validated that I left letting them know how I felt and did not feel a need to go back..

I tried and they did not .. Now perhaps they do/are, I wish them well..

That place is so tainted. They wouldn't understand constructive criticism if it hit them in the face.

I don't know if something like this has happened here, but there was a thread over there about Cutler landing in Denver to report tomorrow. It was an April Fools Joke. There have been a few threads like that, with reports but no link. You can definitely tell the difference between this forum and that one.
